Abstract

In this notes, the design problem of non-fragile controller for a class of nonlinear neutral delay system is investaged. The nonlinear parts are assumed to satisfy the bounded condition, and the controller is additive gain variation. The aim is to design a state feedback non-fragile controller such that, for all nonlinear disturbances, the closed-loop system remains asymptotically stable and cost function value is not more than a specified upper bound. A criterion for the existence of such controller is derived based-on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach combined with the Lyapunov method. A parameterized characterization of guaranteed cost controllers is given in terms of the feasible solutions to the certain LMI. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the application of the proposed design approach.
