Abstract

In the previous studies, we considered the extended ANNNI model and showed that there exist the partially disordered states (PDS). In this paper, to estimate the critical temperature and the exponent β/zν, the Monte Carlo simulation is performed using the non-equilibrium relaxation on the simple cubic lattice (L, Lz=64 ∼ 1024). The order parameter in the ground state based on the Fourier coefficients rapidly relaxes toward values in the equilibrium state near the critical point. For L=1024 and Lz=64, we obtain kBTC/J1=0.686875 ± 0.000625 and β/zν=0.23 ± 0.03
