Abstract

We studied the two-mode squeezing of excited entangled coherent states and found that the deeper the two-mode squeezing, the larger the excitation number. In the end, we proposed a new method for preparing two-mode excited entangled coherent states of vibrational motion of a trapped ion by applying the interaction of a single two-mode trapped ion with many traveling wave light fields with different frequencies.
