The kinetics of the outer-sphere electron-transfer reaction between hexakis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl isocyanide)chromium(II) tetrafluoroborate, Cr(CNdipp) 6 (BF 4 ) 2 , and a series of cobalt(II) clathrochelates of the type CoL 3 (BX) 2 (L=doubly deprotonated diphenylglyoxime (dpg) or 1,2-cyclohexanedione dioxime (nox) and X=C 4 H 9 or C 6 H 5 ) have been studied as a function of the cobalt(II) concentration, temperature, pressure, and added electrolyte (tetra-n-butylammonium tetrafluoroborate) in acetonitrile
