Abstract
The article deals with the processes and state of agriculture, land quality and natural conditions leading to the non-use of arable land. The authors analyzed the situation in the Omsk region and the reflection of this phenomenon by various government structures. In this paper the authors propose to use the analysis as a preliminary procedure before conducting a land inventory and instrumental identification of such lands.
