Abstract

Abstract We investigated the microwave non-thermal effects of the sodium chloride aqueous solution by molecular dynamics simulations, from water microcosmic structure insights. And a field-induced threshold effect is observed, which is consistent with experiment. The hydrogen bond dynamics dependant on microwave non-thermal effects is also discussed. We are presented a mode that microwave energy distribution is partly stored to internally rearrange hydrogen-bond network in the sodium chloride aqueous solution. A less intuitive pattern of the interaction between microwave and electrolytes is also observed through the second solvation shells fluctuation induced by the microwave.
