Abstract

Multiple root resorption with a huge periapical lesion is considered as a great challenge in daily endodontic practice. The anterior teeth are easy victim to traumatic injuries, and thereby a common site for huge lesions of the jaw. Considering hard tissue loss in surgical intervention, the non-surgical modality with triple antibiotic paste (TAP) and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) as an obturation material is gaining popularity in managing such lesions. The present case shows successful healing outcome of a large periapical lesion with inflammatory root resorption in mandibular anterior teeth with non-surgical endodontic modalities. Key-words: External root resorption, Triple antibiotic paste, MTA, CBCT
