Abstract
Transverse loop colostomy is a simple procedure in it construction and closure. Prolapsed is a common complication of this procedure. Occasionally, total defunctioning may not be achieved with loop colostomy. In the present study, a simple modification of loop transverse colostomy which is prolapsed free and gives total defunction is described.
