Abstract
Non-nominal deployment of the SAPIEN 3 (S3) is discouraged by the manufacturer but commonly employed in clinical practice. There is no bench-tested sizing chart to guide clinicians on non-nominal deployment. Current off-label sizing charts assume an approximate 1:1 relationship between the filling volume of the deployment balloon and the cross-sectional area of the S3.
