Abstract

Aiming at the problem of classification and recovery of non-magnetic metals, this paper proposes a method of classification of non-magnetic metals based on eddy current detection, which takes the slope of inductance real part as the conductivity characterization parameter to measure the conductivity of non-magnetic metals, to distinguish metals. The most significant advantage of this method is that even in the face of a metal plate with a damaged surface, its classification ability still exists, and the parameter of the slope of inductance real part will monotonically change with the surface area or depth of damage, which has guiding significance for damage classification or damage assessment.
