Abstract
الغاية من هذا البحث هو دراسة السياق غير اللغوي في معجمات الألفاظ , وذلك بذكر أمثلة وافية تؤكّد الظاهرة وتبيّن أنماطها وأركانها المختلفة , وقد حاولت أن أعرض هذه الظاهرة في معجمات الألفاظ القديمة كلّها من العين(175ه) حتى تاج العروس(1205).
 وقد انتظم البحث بمقدمة, وتمهيد لتعريف مفهوم السياق لغةً واصطلاحاً والسياق غير اللغوي , وخاتمة لأهم النتائج المستخلصة منه.
 وقد توصل البحث إلى نتائج مهمة منها: إن عناصر السياق غير اللغوي في المعجمات قائم في الغالب على العناصر اللغوية المقامية التي تعتمد على معرفة المقام وقضايا التأريخ والجغرافية والمحيطات النصية الأخرى.
