Abstract

This paper presents the application of the two variable expansion method for the study of a class of non-linear difference equations arising in discrete time systems. The two variable expansion method, a multi-time perturbational technique which has been used to a considerable extent for analysis of non-linear differential equations, has been adopted for the investigation of the response characteristics of non-linear difference equations. Examples are provided to illustrate the theoretical framework.
