Abstract

Objectives: Non-invasive methods have replaced angiography in the diagnosis of aortic dissection. Angiography maybe used to evaluate coexisting coronary artery disease (CAD), which can delay surgery and increase the risk of rupture. In this regard, noninvasive coronary angiography using MSCT-techniques may be a safe and effective alternative to visualize the coronary anatomy in patients prior to surgical repair.
