Abstract

Background: Emerging evidence suggests that blood oxygenation level-dependent (BOLD) signals convey information about brain circulation via low frequency oscillation of systemic origin (sLFO) that travels through the vascular structure (Lv, et al., Ann Neurol 2013). Application to vascular diseases has been proposed, but it may provide a powerful method for more general purpose.
