Abstract

7-years old boy whom was diagnosed as an invasive aspergillosis. His underlying disease was B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We successfully performed right lower lung wedge resection under intravenous anesthesia without use of a Foley catheter, arterial line, or endotracheal tube. Only intravenous drugs and an oxygen mask with reservoir bag were used. The postsurgical course was uneventful. He was discharged on postoperative day 3 and were doing well at 1- and 3-month follow-ups.
