Abstract

Diffusion in random-layered media is considered. The non-Gaussian diffusion kinetics is constructed for two models of random-layered structures. The transition of diffusion in such media to asymptotic Gaussian behaviour is studied. A new approach to the description of the kinetics of relativistic electron dechannelling in a crystal is proposed which is based on the concept of diffusion in a random-layered medium developed here.
