Abstract

The non-equilibrium properties of spin polarised deuterium in the degenerate limit are discussed using an extension of Fermi liquid theory to the case of a spin-one particle. The calculations are valid in the absence of internal orientation of the system. Numerical results are presented using the dilute gas approximation and the presence of a spin-zero sound mode is predicted.
