Abstract

The present article intends to discuss the evaluation and diagnosis concepts in Client-Centered Therapy (PCT). In the therapeutic process development, evaluation is discussed in a non-directive perspective around a genuine attitude of cli- ent knowledge. Openness to experience causes the understanding of client complexity, and the knowledge leads to a diagnosis. Techniques are reviewed as a reflection of the therapist's attitudes, which then develops a therapeutic alliance and facilitates actualizing tendency in order to allow for the client's personnel growth.
