Non-commutative geometry: A physicist's brief survey

Abstract

This is an introduction to the old and new concepts of non-commutative geometry. We review the ideas underlying non-commutative measure and topology, non-commutative differential calculus, non-commutative connections on non-commutative vector bundles, and non-commutative Riemannian geometry by following A. Connes' point of view.
