Abstract
A nomogram, generated numerically, is presented for estimating sound levels generated by point noise sources in urban street complexes. The nomogram accounts for street width, distance of the receiver from the source, reflection coefficient of the building walls, and includes cases where the receiver is across one or more street intersections or is around a street corner from the source. The effect of ground reflection is included. Subject Classification: 50.80; 20.20; 28.40.
