SummaryFilipendula Miller is the correct name when Filipendula Mill. (1754) and Ulmaria Mill. (1754) are treated as congeneric. But Filipenduleae Schulze‐Menz (1964), at the tribal rank, must be reduced as a taxonomic synonym of the tribe Ulmarieae Vent. (1799), for which the tribe Ulmarieae Focke (1888) is an isonym.
