Abstract
Munronia pinnata (Wall.) A. S. Rao, comb. nov. is the plant until now known under Munronia wallichii Wt. The nomenclatural history is briefly stated. The disjunct distribution of the species is commented upon. A photograph of a herbarium specimen is also included.
