Abstract
Abstract As a result of our taxonomic study of the genus Erythrina L. (Leguminosae, Papilionoideae, Phaseoleae) in Brazil, 12 lectotypifications, 2 being second step, 1 accompanied by an epitype, and 3 new synonyms, are proposed. Erythrina mulungu, previously considered a synonym, is presented as the correct name for a species formerly known as E. dominguezii, and E. martii is considered a synonym of E. falcata, a conserved name.
