Abstract

Absolute wavenumbers of 140 lines belonging to ν 3 band of 16O 12C 32S, around 2060 cm −1, are measured under vacuum with a high resolution Fourier Spectrometer, within ±0.11 × 10 −3 cm −1 (3.1 MHz) . They achieve a 20-fold improvement in accuracy over previous measurements and are consequently proposed as secondary infrared standards. Molecular constants are reported.
