Abstract

Coherence resonance using leaky integrate-and-fire (LIF) neuron array was focused in this paper. Based on the former study of coherence resonance in leaky LIF neuron model, a LIF neuron array was used to explore the resonance characteristics. Under proper noise intensity, the number of excitatory neurons was enough to generate spike trains. Potential of each LIF neuron in the array changed with the increase of the white noise intensity. And the 3-D neuron array put up double maximum number of excited neurons. Simulating results demonstrated that double coherence resonance existed in the leaky LIF neuron array.
