Abstract

The acoustic double holography method for determining sound source locations is proposed. By the use of this method, higher resolution could be expected compared to the resolution obtained from using the conventional single acoustic holography method. An experiment using the proposed method was carried out with one or two speakers. Computer simulation was also executed in order to verify the experimental results. Furthermore, several advantages of this method with respect to resolution over the single acoustic holography method were discussed.
