Abstract
Noise is usually defined as sound on a certain amplitude which can cause irritation or disrupt communication. The toll road is a public road that to the wearer is subject to the obligation to pay the toll road and is an existing public road alternative path, and is part of the transportation network system, to organize the traffic system, and handle congestion. Over all the existence of toll roads will have a positive impact, but after the road is operated expected to have an impact, namely the high level of noise. The noise on the toll road can disrupt work effectiveness because there are offices and trade areas, housing, schools, and other activity area designations located next to the toll road that can interfere with the performance of the facility. This study aims to analyze the noise level on the city of Makassar toll roads and predict the noise level on the Makassar City toll road based on the 2008 ASJ-RTN Model. The research methodology uses the 2008 ASJ-RTN model to predict the noise level on the Makassar City toll road. The average traffic noise level in all observation points on the toll road Kota Makassar is 77.17 dB. The maximum of Laeq day is at the point observation 02 of 82.24 dB and minimum at the point observation 05 of 74.17 dB.
