Abstract

Resulting from a new joined piece to the Old Hittite ritual for the royal couple this article focuses on the question of numerus correlation between possessum and plurality of its possessores. It is argued that even in the case of more than one possessor the singular is used with the possessum if it is extant solitarily with each possessor, whereas the plural is used if it is extant more than one time with each possessor. Concluding the article some additions to the paradigm of the Hittite possessive pronouns are presented.
