Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 04/22/2023 Patient experience is increasingly being acknowledged as an important quality indicator in health care. Nevertheless, there is a lack of understanding of this construct. This qualitative study sought to understand the lived experiences of patients in inpatient rehabilitation and the factors that are most influential in this experience. Research findings increase understanding of the patient experience and perceived influential factors. This is crucial to providing patient-centered care.
