Abstract
We report new high resolution Stokes V spectropolarimetry and ultra-high precision longitudinal magnetic field measurements of the pulsating classical Cepheid η Aql which fail to corroborate the report by Plachinda ([CITE]) of a ~100 G magnetic field in this star.
