Abstract

Among 26 systematic reviews included in a comprehensive analysis, none showed high‐certainty evidence supporting the use of antidepressants for the treatment of chronic pain. Four comparisons of serotonin‐norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) with placebo found moderate‐certainty evidence of the antidepressants’ efficacy, investigators reported.
