Abstract

Still the highest transition temperatures Tc in superconductors were observed in the recently discovered Hg-based cuprates [1–4] with the general formula HgBa2Can−1CunO2n+2+δ. These compounds exhibit a tetragonal structure similar to the Tl and Bi cuprates. In order to study the influence of oxygen doping on the structure and the superconducting properties we present63,65Cu and199Hg Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) results on several samples of HgBa2CuO4+δ (Hg-1201).
