Abstract

We have performed 51V-NMR measurements of the Haldane system PbNi 2 V 2 O 8 at 30 T using a hybrid magnet installed at National Institute for Materials Science. Frequency-swept NMR spectrum begins to separate below 12 K. The temperature at which NMR spectrum begins to separate well agrees with the transition temperature determined by the magnetization measurements. The separation of the NMR spectrum confirms the field-induced antiferromagnetic ordering.
