Abstract
Spin echo investigations on ferromagnetic Gd x Y 1− x Al 2 were carried out. The contribution to the hyperfine field on the neighboring Gd-ions is determined as function of Gd content for the Al site to be - (48.6 ± 4.7) koe · x and for the Gd site to be - (22 ± 2) koe · x.
