Abstract
The quadrupole coupling constant and the electric field gradient asymmetry parameter η were determined directly from the satellites of the dispersive mode NMR lineshape for the 55Mn resonance in polycrystalline KMnO 4 and are found to be 1.568 ± 0.015 MHz and 0.121 ± 0.001, respectively.
