Abstract

The use of data processing methods in high resolution NMR spectroscopy is explained. Topics covered include manipulation of the NMR FID to improve the signal-to-noise ratio or spectral resolution, manipulations of the frequency spectrum to correct phases and base line errors, and the determination of peak positions and intensities. Various approaches for improving incomplete data sets are also outlined. Finally, some more recent methods for fast 2-dimensional NMR and for statistical analysis of spectra are covered.
