Abstract
A mixture of the complexes {[Cp 2Mo(μ 2-H) 2] 2Ag}PF 6 ( 1), {[Cp 2W(μ 2-H) 2] 2Ag}PF 6 ( 2) and [Cp 2Mo(μ 2-H) 2Ag(μ 2-H) 2WCp 2]PF 6 ( 3) was synthesized. 1H- and 1H{ 109Ag}-NMR experiments gave detailed information about structure, bonding and exchange behaviour. Further, the methyl substituted complex {[(η 5-C 5H 4Me) 2Mo(μ 2-H) 2] 2Ag}PF 6 ( 4) was synthesized and characterized by X-ray analysis. 1H-, 1H{ 109Ag}- and 95Mo-NMR data are reported.
