Abstract

The aim of this study is; to determine whether entrepreneurship levels of the Faculty of Sport Sciences students differ according to demographic variables. This research consist of 310 students in total, 212 male 98 female students, studying in different departments of Uşak University Faculty of Sport Sciences. The data in the study were obtained by using the “Personal Information Form” developed by the researcher and “Entrepreneurship Scale for University Students” prepared by Sünbül and Yılmaz (2009). This scale prepared with 36 questions is; a five-point Likert-style scale. Analysis of the data related to the questionnaire and scale used in the research was done by using SPSS 22 statistical program. Since the data set does not conform to the normal distribution, in order to test whether the scores obtained from nonparametric hypothesis tests and the scores obtained from two independent samples differ significantly from each other; Mann-Whitney U test was applied and Kruskal Wallis test was applied for more than two independent sample groups. As a result of this research; investigation of the effects on entrepreneurship levels of students in the Faculty of Sport Sciences ; when we look at gender, age, and whether they have entrepreneurship education, there is no significant difference between entrepreneurship scores of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences in terms of gender variable. There is a significant difference between the students' age variable and their entrepreneurship education scores (p <0.05). It is thought that this study will contribute to the studies to be done.
