Abstract

(Anesth Analg. 2023;136:613–615) The use of nitrous oxide (N2O) for labor analgesia is increasing across the world. N2O is being commonly used as an analgesic in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, Finland, and Sweden. Although its use is common in many areas N2O has not been proven effective and is harmful to the environment.
