Abstract

Whilst it is relatively easy to quantify sulphur dioxide emissions worldwide, the situation with nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions is more complicated. In this article information is presented from two recently published IEA Coal Research reports, a UK DTI research report and information contained in the Environmental Reports of British Airways 1990 to 1997.
