Abstract

Concentrations of nitrogen compounds in lysimeteric water depend on the origin of fertilizers applied (mineral or organic) and their amounts. When mineral fertilizers were used, concentration of ammonium ions in water of lysimeters decreased in the second year while in case of organic fertilizers it increased compared to the first year after usage. Concentration of nitrites in lisimetric water is significantly lower than that of ammonium and nitrate ions and alterations in concentration are insignificant. Concentrations of nitrates in lisimeric water after mineral fertilizers were applied were similar in the first and second year of research. In case of organic fertilizers, concentration values dropped significantly in the second year of research.
