Abstract
1. 1. Samples from 40 adult wallabies were collected on ten occasions between 1966–1969. 2. 2. Urine and nitrogen excretion were both less in summer than in winter. 3. 3. Faecal nitrogen and faecal water excretion were fairly constant and were less than nitrogen and water excreted in urine at the same time. 4. 4. Plasma ureas were consistently high indicating that nitrogen was not limiting. 5. 5. Field and laboratory wallabies have a different pattern of water excretion.
