Abstract

Nitrogen and oxygen K X-ray emission spectra from nitrous oxide (NNO), excited by electron impact, have been studied using the grazing incidence technique. Interpretation of spectra was made with the aid of ab initio calculated one-centre intensities and photoelectron spectra. Core electron binding energies were determined from an energy calibration using XUV emission lines.
