Abstract

Patients with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) have intrinsic lower lung compliance. Shear wave elastography (SWE) is an emerging noninvasive ultrasound technology to evaluate fetal lung stiffness with the potential to correlate with histopathologic analyses and postnatal pulmonary function. We aimed to evaluate lung elastography measurements in a nitrofen rat model of CDH.
