Abstract
The aza-Michael addition of primary nitraminofurazans to α,β-unsaturated carbonyl acceptors proceeds without a catalyst; the adducts or their 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazones undergo retro-Michael fragmentation under basic conditions.
