Abstract
NIR-Raman spectra of [Co(NH 3) 5H 2O)]Cl 3, [Co(NH 3) 5OH]Cl 2, [Co(NH 3) 5Cl]Cl 2 and [Co(NH 3) 4(H 2O) 2] 2-(SO 4) 3 are reported. Thermal decomposition was observed for the aquo complexes even using very low laser power. This decomposition is connected with the loss of H 2O. Preliminary assignment of some metal ligand vibrations are proposed.
