Abstract
Here, we present a study of the increase in the creep strength as a function of the applied load, under high relative humidity conditions, of glass coated with a niobium oxide film of 200 nm thickness. The Nb2O5 coatings were deposited by DC magnetron sputtering in an Ar/O2 atmosphere. The films also had a high resistance to electrochemical corrosion and wear resistance, up to 70% better than the uncoated glass.
