Abstract

This work concerns the use of pulsed electrolysis for the improvement of niobium coatings produced in molten fluoride media. The main results show that optimizing the electrical parameters, ratio and frequency of the pulses, leads to both an increase in the electrodeposition rate and smooth coatings with interesting crystallographic properties. © 2000 The Electrochemical Society.
