Abstract

Bathymetry is shown for two heretofore unknown seamounts in the Emperor Chain: Ninigi and Godaigo seamounts. They were discovered by the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office and named by the author. Very accurate bathymetry and positioning allows a clarification of previous mid-chain bathymetric charts and an explanation of hot spot multiple conduit flow.
