Abstract

Moustgaard, I.K.: The reflections of Niels Bohr on the concept of observation in psychology. Nordisk Psykologi, 1986, 38 (1), 27–40. It is widely known that it was a matter of great importance to Niels Bohr continually to express the impact of »the experience learned by us through the development of atomic physics«…on other scientific fields of knowledge. Bohr's particular interest in problems concerning the foundations of psychology is obvious, and is displayed by the various reflections on the concept of psychological observation, which are found throughout his works. A selection of such problems are formulated and discussed and it is shown that the deliberations of Niels Bohr are still inspiring for all those interested in a systematic re- analysis of the observational foundations of empirical psychology.
